Honey & Bee Products Production

Honey is undoubtedly the most familiar bee product. However, the bees – these hardworking little insects also produce beeswax, royal jelly, pollen, venom, and propolis for their hives.

We collect and select the best of those products for our customers that can be used in so many ways – as delicious food for every occasion, natural remedies for illness or pain, or as raw products in the cosmetic or modern medicine industries.

Honey & Bee Products Trading

We work with more than 200+ individual beekeepers to meet the international market’s increasing need for natural honey and bee products.

We partner with other foreign companies from Japan, Taiwan, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Greece to always deliver the highest quality natural goods at a reasonable price.

Storage & Packaging

We offer a wide range of convenient packages suitable for all industries (jars, plastic pails, metal drums, etc.)

All the packages meet the requirements and regulations for storage and transportation of honey.

We use storage houses with optimized conditions to prevent the honey and the other honey products from fermentation, microorganisms, acidity, heat, or sunlight.

Certification

All our products are tested and certified. We work with several accredited laboratories in Bulgaria and Germany (Intertek Germany, QSI Germany, SGS Bulgaria, Bulgarian Food Safety Agency) with high ethics and standards to deliver pure quality goods to our customers.

Export

We are registered exporter and part of the REX system (Registered Exporter System) with a registration number: BGREX2020N00115.

This is a system of certification of origin of goods that applies in different unilateral, bilateral, or multilateral preferential trade agreements between the European Union and the partner countries.

When exporting our products from Bulgaria, we are responsible for:

Complying with the destination country's legislation and eligibility requirements

Keeping the right records

We make sure that the bee products produced by our beekeepers

are fit for purpose, by ensuring:

Our bees are fed honey only

Our bee products prepared or packed for trade are Our free of extra objects, materials, and substances

Our bee products do not exceed any applicable regulatory maximum permissible limits for residue and contaminants

Our hives are free from any clinical signs of American Foulbrood

We produce our products according to the European Union legislation in the conditions laid down in:

Council Directive 2002/99/EC laying down the animal health rules governing the production, processing, distribution, and introduction of products of animal origin for human consumption;

Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority, and laying down procedures in matters of food safety;

Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs;

Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 laying down specific rules for food of animal origin;

Regulation (EU) 2017/625 on official controls and other official activities performed to ensure the application of food and feed law, rules on animal health and welfare, plant health, and plant protection products;

The facilities where our honey is processed and stored are HACCP certified for production, processing, and storage of honey and bee products (the HACCP system is the most effective quality system in terms of the supply of safe products). They are regularly checked and controlled by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) which is an integrated body for controls of safety and quality of food and feed in Republic of Bulgaria. BFSA follows the best European practices for implementation of the highest standards of controls in the areas of safety and quality of food, food- and feed additives and drinks, veterinary medicine and animal welfare, plant protection and fertilizers, phytosanitary controls, feed, border inspections, and others.

All the data and information for each processed (homogenized) batch honey of ours is kept, checked and is traceable.

The creation of honey workflow process, determining potential hazards, analyzing hazards, taking necessary precautions, recording the system, providing internationally reliable product guarantee is of great importance for public health.
